[Elecraft] Checking and Double Checking

Just something that I've used to really check the solder joints is a
computer and video microscope.  Got one for the kids for christmas and can't
stop playing with it. Great contrast, variable magnification, cheap (around
$45 USD) and color too.

I don't know which field tester inserted the last paragraph on page 18.
This reminder to check and recheck all the pins, using a magnifier is
the only place (so far) where you are really overstating the obvious.  I
mean, what fool would forget one of the pins?  They are in neat little
lines and everything.



So I double checked, and I had missed pin one!



Thanks for fool proof instructions!  (Even for an ingenious fool like
me.)
