Like last year I had a fairly serious attempt at this contest in the 
all band QRP section. Managed an incredible 40 hours operating! 

919 QSOs made in 85 DXCC countries, claimed score 477,935
Rig K2, 5W, long wire antenna.

Conditions seemed a bit marginal. Although I worked a reasonable 
number of USA stations on all the higher bands, it was quite hard at 
times on 10m and I wasted time with stations not hearing me well. It 
was nice though to work the 5U station (a team of G operators) on the 
three hf bands, even first call on 15m!

The K2 worked great, as it always does. I sensed at times that other 
stations were having big receiver problems, many times I could hear a 
stations perfectly when the one he was working was asking for 
repeats. Perhaps that is why it was hard work with QRP this year when 
conditions were down on last year's.

This weekend has brought my all time QRP country worked count to 185 
and the 2003 count to 144.
