3665 is now up & running!  Exceeds my expectations!  I made three stupid
errors during construction but recovered.  First was installing the
resettable fuse in the aux 12 v spot!  Imagine my feelings when I turned =
the
power on for the first time and nothing apparent happened!  Was able to =
get
it removed and installed in the right spot & everything worked in Phase =
I of
RF board.  I also did not get the power switch in flush, but works as =
is, if
you don't notice the slightly cocked button on front panel.  Last =
mistake
was installing 82pF cap in band pass area instead of 820pF.  Had no 82 =
to
use to finish construction.  Delayed completion for a week until I got =
new
82.

Used Wayne's calibration technique & have WWV at 10000.00.  Aligned =
filters
per N0SS's technique using Spectrogram & it was easy. =20

Am really impressed with the performance.  Now I'll get on with =
installing
the noise blanker, 160 add-on, & KAF2 that I completed while I waited =
for
the 82pF cap.  Also have SSB adapter, 100W add-on, & KAT-100 to =
complete.
These kits are impressive!
