You can set the level at which HiCur warns, but 4.0 seems a bit high. I
believe the recommended setting for CAL CUR is 3.0 for 10W operation.
Remember, this is not just a warning, it's a limit. The PA folds back to
your CAL CUR setting as much as possible (this is primarily for the battery
guys).

I'd suggest you re-peak the 30M band-pass in the base unit and try again.

Or (since this is a base station [fan?]), just set CAL CUR to 5.
