I rather suspect that the saturation has not been reached.
The contest crowd is starting to see leading scorers using K2's for
the receiver. This is helped along by the addition of the /100 stuff
which makes the integration into existing contesting stations a lot
easier.
I know of three probable purchasers who are waiting for whatever mod
comes out for a key click fix. (Am assuming that Wayne and Eric are
actually working on that.)
It also seems that the market for pre-built K2's is doing well.
Offhand, I'd gauge that the market for kits would be defined by
numbers like what Heathkits reached. There's quite a ways to go for
that.
