Well, I would argue that at the beginning the sales were mostly to the 
QRP builders (the kind of guys who have fifteen different kit and 
homebrew rigs sitting on their desks).  These guys are more builders 
than operators, and they've wound a few toroids in their time.

Now, judging by the reflector comments, a lot of newer and less 
technical hams are starting to say to themselves, "hey, I can do this 
too."  Maybe they're less confident of their ability to handle the 
toroid winding part, or maybe they are more interested in the product 
than the process, and prepared to trade some money for some time.

And don't forget that you have been building a reputation over time for 
reliability and good work!
