[Elecraft] 707 vs 808

Hi Tom,

I was looking through the Hakko catalog.  It appears that the big 
difference between the 707 and 808 is that the 707 has a separate base 
unit with the vacuum pump (like the current 470B), rather than being 
self contained as is the 808.  Not sure if there is tip compatibility 
between the 707 and any of the current products, though.

BTW, I love the TechNotes section of http://www.hakkousa.com -- it 
should be required reading for all electronically oriented curmudgeons!
