While we are at it, yet another wish list:

1)  APIs in the firmware for owner or third party designed 
    add ons

2)  Fewer or no "two button" pushes, e.g. to turn AGC off

3)  The simple menu strucure of the K2 has become rather 
    complicated in newer versions of the software, especially 
    with the KDSP

4)  More bands in one box, e.g. 137 kHz, 50MHz, 70MHz, 144MHz
    432MHz etc. (a larger box for a desktop radio is not a
    bad thing)

5)  A DSP-IF at something like 50kHz also with user APIs

6)  General coverage only if it does not degrade performance
    on the HAM bands

7)  FM

8)  True AM reception for BC stations (with a DSP this should 
    not be too difficult

9)  An accurate meaningful S-Meter !!!

10) Continously variable bandwidth instead of four steps per
    mode

11) More flexibility in the ATU, e.g. bypass on some bands
    and not on others (a minor pet peeve)

12) Remote control of every button and knob (including RIT,
    AF Gain, IF Gain, etc.)

13) Remote control via Ethernet & TCP/IP
