That is the way that I fed my loop back when I had one and I worked 
 >250 countries on it with 100W.  Best antenna I had at the time and 
very quiet.  I chatted with a ZL running 20W SSB every morning at 2 AM 
local on 40M that I couldn't even on the other antennas.  This was 
about 10 years ago when I still lived in Michigan.  Wish I had the room 
for one now.
