[Elecraft] KAT2 Bridge null adjustment

I have a question about what constitutes "much lower or higher" voltage on
pin1 of U4. This is from KAT2 page 17, step 4. I get zero on recieve and
2.58 vdc when I hit tune (with 5 watts into dummy load) on pin 1 of U4. I am
getting CALn to 007 a couple of steps previous to this, which I figured was
ok.

Is that "much lower"?

I hate to install R6 in the next step if I have a problem. BTW, I don't want
a problem :)

I hate even more to ask dumb questions, so I pondered the manual for a
minute to see if I missed something. I don't have any R6 (47-ohm) waiting to
be intalled. This is where the light bulb came on.

So, not wanting to pull R6 to get this voltage reading and then put it back
in, is 2.58 vdc about right with R6 installed?

Elecraft manual writers: Page 4 step 2, TMI. I'd rather not hear about R6 if
it is not suppose to be installed. I was working in the wee hours on only
partial brain power.
