I ran into a similar problem with a VERY local AM radio station. I
contacted Ed Wetherhold, W3NQN, who designed and built for me a 7th
order elliptical filter that notched out the offender. It's important to
remember that the filter's characteristics have to be accounted for as
part of the "measurement system." I wrote a spreadsheet that computed
ABCD parameters so I could cascade the filter, feedline and antenna.

One last thing, try an antenna tuner or homebrew bandpass filter ahead
of your receiver to be certain it is not internally generated, mixing
from some other frequency.
