I suspect the concern is more due to the K2 being able to
hear signals right down to the noise. If the noise goes up
and covers those weak signals, we won't be hearing them. But
neither will anyone else.
On the other end, running QRP, we won't be putting out much signal
to the guy at the other end, who is also dependent on hearing weak
signals.
Nothing unique to the K2 or K1. Everyone will be in the same boat.

All the discussion about BPL on here seems to imply that the K1/K2 are
perhaps more susceptible to BPL that other rigs. Is this so? And if
so, is there anything that can be done to improve the design?
There is an abundance of information on the Internet about BPL (or PLT
as we call it in the UK) and its encroachment to this list is worrying.
Recent events suggests that the US should be concentrating is sending
power down their cables rather than data!
