Ryan, the K1 is definitely worth the money, but if you've never built anything you might want to think about having someone build it
for you or buy one built or if you really are handy (have build models and done any detailed handiwork) then you'll be okay. The
thing you'll need is a good temperature controlled soldering iron/station small tools and good solder. If you've got those things
are the right mindset the assembly instructions are wonderful. You might check out the manual on line and see what you think.
