[Elecraft] Two KDSP2 Questions

Hi, Folks,

I have two questions about the operation of the DSP filter.

1) Once you have bypassed the DSP functions, can it be re-activated without
recycling power?

2) What are people doing about re-setting the S-meter?  I set my S-meter low
setting just so the leftmost led is lit.  When I exit the menu, the LED goes
out.  It just isn't obvious to me how the S-meter threshold is a function of
the DSP module, but maybe it is.  Has anyone else played with this
"feature"?  If so, what was the resolution?
