The KDSP2 is in the circuit after the AGC and before the sidetone is
added in, so I doubt that it could influence either AGC pumping or
clicks.  However, with noise reduction turned on, it may eliminate some
of the noise which would otherwise cover up some of those effects which
might not be noticeable otherwise.  The gain of the KDSP2 can affect
the signal level relative to the sidetone.
