[Elecraft] K2 rf gain control problem

 Hello Everyone,
     I have a K2 #1880 with a very touchy rf gain control switch.When I 
turn the
knob even slightly,the smeter goes all the way right.Also, the receive 
is muted
completely.The muting lasts for about 2-5 seconds as the meter returns 
to the
left.Could anyone  me help with this ,or is this normal.Vers.2.01 
software is
installed,AF audio pot mod and the SSB 2nd filter mod is installed.Can't 
remember when this started (after mods?).Any suggestions are appreciated.
