Yep, VR2 does the trick.  I was able to  raise voltage on my Samlex to read 
13.8 at the K2.  BTW, I didn't realize the Samlex even had a fan in it until 
I adjusted VR2--the fan is very quiet-silent- and my unit does not create RF 
noise.
