[Elecraft] AGC popping

I have tried to live with the popping of the AGC (I think): immediately 
when the receiver comes in after you let your mic or key go to rx mode.
In my k2 this is especially irritating when signals are present on the 
frequency your are listening on.

I think it's described best as a relatively large INCREASE on audiolevel 
for abt. 0.5 seconds, the S meter is blank in this short period and
the moment the S meter kicks in, the audiolevel is were it should be.


Question: is it only me, if not is there a mod or is there something really 
wrong in my K2. (it was like this from the beginning)
