[Elecraft] Hand tools?

Dear Clay,
From my local Home Depot (of all places), I purchased a nice Xcelite tool 
set consisting of:
#170 flush cutting diagonal cutters
#378 needle nose pliers
Price was less than $15 for the set.  Overall quality is about an A-. 
Built my K2 with this set and anticipate building much more.

Anticipating my K2, I find I am disappointed with my old cutters & pliers,
now dull and rusty.  I would like to invest in some really high quality
stuff that will last a long time, but find the myriad brands and prices
totally confusing.  Does anyone have any advice on some precision tools 
that
I will be happy with for a decade or two?
