I've tried obtaining a Hakko 808 and similar models in the UK, but they do
not appear to be available in Europe at all. This seems to be because the
Hakko company is unwilling or unable to register the units for EC
compliance.

Does anyone know of an equivalent or similar unit available in Europe?
