Ed, you should have tons of speaker audio. Please check with Gary on this. He
has compiled a list of things that could reduce it. The AGC threshold setting is
very important, as is filter alignment (BFOs).

On the other hand, the K2's single-conversion, low-noise design is "quieter"
than most. The overall receive gain *is* a little lower than the fire-breathing,
quadruple-conversion, multi-kilobuck rigs sold by our competition.....  Ack!
