Well, it's finished....I mean, if a K2 is ever truly finished?!

K2 - many, many mistakes, but learned a great deal how the damn thing works 
troubleshooting my mistakes....

Spectrograph is a must have at $25, don't even think aligning the filters 
without it. Very impressed with the rig operation, definitely going to be 
the main rig here from now on replacing ICOM and Kenwood and Alinco!

Only complaint, speaker audio puny compared to the other rigs, can't image 
running mobile with this level of audio output. Of course, in the QTH works 
FB.

KPA100 - took my time this time building it and the amp lit-off the first 
time and works as the manual says....Very impressed!!

KNB2 - works better than expected.

KAF2 - works much better than expected and very impressed filtering noise 
and crap on CW -- wish it worked on SSB!

KSB2 - made major mistake when building, thanks again to Scott for bailing 
me out.....works great, receiving rave audio reviews from a really tough 
crowd using Shure 444D after I got the filter bandpass right. Only complaint 
the VOX is useless cuz it doesn't pick up my first syllable! May be a more 
sensitive mic would work?

Haven't detected any freq drift using the KPA100 but will order the TCXO 
kit...but will wait for you guys to shake out the problems with it much like 
the 20-pin connector mistake Elecraft made with my kit!!!


A major thanks to Gary and Scott at Elecraft....they are almost worth more 
than Eric and Wayne.....definitely they will not let anyone fail!!

And a major thanks to all that offered advice and a shoulder to cry on when 
I needed it....
