Take a look at TLF <http://home.iae.nl/users/reinc/TLF-0.2.html>.  It is
somewhat of a TR-Log lookalike and I have used it in several contests
as well as for general logging.  It interfaces with hamlib, which means
it should be compatible with a K2 (emulating a Kenwood radio).
