Me too! Even with performance limitations, it would make the K1 into what I 
hoped the FT-817 would turn out to be. I'd like a radio I could sling in a 
rucksack to make a few casual Q's while out on a walk, and the K2 + KBT2 is 
overkill for that (quite apart from the hassle of disconnecting it whenever 
I go out.)
