Chris, KD5PBJ asked:

"... is worth it to go back and deflux everything I have ever built or =
just
go forward with the defluxing from this point (I would have a lot of =
stuff
to go back and deflux). ?

Nope!=20

Defluxing seems to be one of those things that comes and goes like =
fashions.

I've done professional electronics service work on and off for over 40 =
years
and I've learned to check with the manufacturer of each piece of =
equipment I
work on if I am asked by my client to "clean" the board. Some =
manufacturers
will void all warranties on any boards that get cleaned no matter what =
was
used to clean it. Some have specific recommendations for the cleaners =
that
can be allowed.

Along that line, as you pointed out, the Elecraft manual for my K2 says =
"DO
NOT use...water-soluble flux solder, additional flux, or solvents of any
kind" in Bold Face.=20

The only consistent thing that I've seen over the years is that I've =
never
met a manufacturer who had a problem with leaving the flux on the board. =
