Hi Russell,
We didn't test the KAT100 with this particular antenna during development. But
it's a very wide-range tuner, and should match any moderate-sized loop antenna
on most if not all bands. If the antenna is multi-band, this will shorten tune
times and give you a predictable radiation pattern on the bands it's cut for. It
should easily give you full-band coverage at close to 1.0:1 on these bands.
On bands the antenna is not resonant on, the pattern may be quite different than
on the design bands, and the parasitic elements will not play a part (there may
be exceptions due to harmonic resonances). You can predict the pattern using
EZ-NEC (etc.) to some degree, although local ground conditions and nearby
objects will distort the results.
