[Elecraft] Earthlink ISP problems

Just to offer a different view, I switched to Earthlink about two years
after having absolutely miserable experiences with AOL and several
other 'real' Internet Service Providers. I've had two Earthlink
accounts for this period of time -- a personal account (currently DSL)
and a business/travel account (dialup). I've had great service and very
good technical support from the Mac tech support team at Earthlink. I
travel a lot for business, and have never, ever had a problem
retrieving or sending email while on the road. My home personal account
now uses .Mac for email service and personal web pages, so I can't
speak to the issues some have recently had with email. I know, however,
that most large ISPs are taking severe measures to cure the spam
problem and those actions frequently cause users some heartburn.
(Personally, being from Texas I'd like to see a federal law passed
mandating the death penalty for spammers -- then sent to Texas to have
the sentence carried out!)
Just my opinion....and I've no interest in Earthlink other than as a
satisfied user.
