I have had my K2 for a couple of years now and  use it every day. i have 
never had any need to reset it.
On CW my K2 easily out performs my ICOM 756PRO2 and this is a demonstration 
that I happily give to all my shack visitors <g>

If you are needing to reset your K2 then there are other problems that may 
need looking at.
