It takes about 1 minute to remove the KPA100 top and install the "QRP" top. 

Yes, six screws: top front corner, side, back corner on each side. 

For those who have plenty of room on the operating table, the
externally-mounted KPA100 avoids the need to do anything but unplug a few
cables from the back of the rig to go QRP portable.

... does anyone out there just change the two different tops?  Last year's
K2/100 CQ review says this can be done...by just removing and reinstalling
