[Elecraft] RIT Instability

When adjusting the RIT on my older K2's, the frequency jumps around a =
small amount within the RIT range rather than tuning smoothly. There is =
no instability when the knob is stationary. This problem began on SN =
#139 after several years of use, then SN #583.

 Several questions:  Is this a common problem? Is the only solution =
replacing the pot's?
