I've just been working on cell phone designs. There are, actually,
numerous VC-TCXOs -- voltage-controlled TCXOs. This is how they
implement AFC.

This would be difficult to do.  The Xtal's controlling both oscillators
are
pulled by varactor diodes.  There is no common oscillator that controls
all
of the frequencies in a K2.
