[Elecraft] microphone headset

Hi Folks,

This is aimed mainly at my European K2 cousins - I'm a Brit.

I recently purchased a K2 direct from Elecraft in the States. The service
provided was superb and I have absolutely no problem with Elecraft.

I decided subsequently to order the SSB option and noticed that there was a
European distributor. Impatient that I am, I thought to order from them to
get it sooner. Until I saw the prices.

Two examples:

Basic K2: Elecraft price USD 599. European distributor: Euros 905
SSB Option: Elecraft price USD 89. European distributor: Euros: 135

At today's prices Euros 905 amounts to about USD 838
and Euros 135 comes to USD 125

In other words, the European price is 40% greater than that from Elecraft
direct. In fact, if you do the sums, you can visualise the marketing guy
saying, "Let's mark it up at 40%. Nobody in Europe's going to notice."
Wrong. For the moment I shall be buying from California and not Berlin.
