Well, I guess that depends on whether or not you have any open holes on 
the back of your K2, such as cutouts for connectors belonging to options 
which you haven't installed. My K2 had a number of unoccupied holes, 
through one of which I routed a short cable terminated with an RCA phono 
jack, and then used a standard audio cable with a male RCA phono plug on 
each end to connect between the amplifier and the K2. I'd suggest 
however that you reinforce with electrical tape, the area surrounding 
the cable at the point where it goes through any access hole, since the 
edges of some of those holes can be a bit rough and may eventually cut 
into the wire.

If you don't have any access holes available, I'd resort to using a 
drill to create one (gasp!) rather than operate the radio with the cover 
off. You *know* that at some point, you'll drop something inside there, 
which may end up creating some unappreciated troubleshooting opportunites.
