[Elecraft] K2, Rigblaster&Timewave 599zx

I having a problem hooking up the Rigblaster.  I'm not sure how to do it.
It has a 25 pin serial port.  Should I just get an adapter to 9 pin and use
the cable I made with the KIO2?  Seems like that should work but I'm not
sure and I don't want to mess up the K2 or the computer.
I also have a Timewave with the updated chip, about a year or ago.  I didn't
know that it can be used for PSK directly without a Rigblaster or some other
circuit when I got the Rigblaster.  It has a 9 pin serial port.  Should I
just use the KIO2 cable to connect it, along with the other regular
connections for psk?  Anyone have the 599zx with the new chip?  If so do you
know if it can be used for msfsk and others?  I know it can be used for
rtty.
I finally have the k2 all done except for the PA which I have but won't
start until I have the K2 all set up.  I'm still playing around with the
filters.  I'm confused about setting the digital filters.  Actually, all the
filters confuse me.  Something hasn't clicked in my mind yet.  I'm using
spectrogram but I'm not sure what I'm looking at.  I get it after a while, I
hope-hi.

easier for me.  I have just switched to the digest version and I'm not sure
if I would overlook any replies.
