Hello,

 Ed, WA3WSJ and myself, WB3AAL, are going out onto the Appalachian Trail on
Sept. 13, 2002 until Sept. 14, 2002.

 We plan to hike about 7.25 miles on Friday and 6 miles on Saturday. We will
be hiking from Lehigh Gap near Palmerton, PA south (actually west) to Route
309.

 We will be operating our K1's from the Bake Oven Shelter in Carbon County
PA, on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Should be on the air sometime
after 21:00 UTC until ? that night. Should be on the air Saturday morning
until 14:00 UTC. The usual CW QRP frequencies on 40m, 30m, 20m or 17m. Who
knows, if the hiking goes well we might be back on the air Saturday
afternoon near Route 309.
