[Elecraft] Just finished the K2

I just finished assembling the K2 along with the SSB and ATU options.  =
What a great radio!  Now I understand all the raving reviews I've read =
about it.  Contruction was slow at first, but by the time I finished the =
K2, I had so much experience that the SSB and ATU only took 1 day each.  =
The KAF2 and KNB2 should be a piece of cake.

I have'nt been on the air since the late 60's but I'm back because I'll =
be retiring to my sailboat in 3 years where the K2 will be a welcome =
addition.

I just wanted to throw in my $0.02 worth about a power supply for the =
K2. I'm using a portable heavy-duty jump starter (500 amp) that has a =
built-in recharger along with a cigarette lighter outlet and it works =
great, (plus, you can jump start a car with it). Since the K2 only draws =
about 0.26 amps it should run quite awhile before needing a recharge.
