When the BFOs for any particular filter are setup properly and provided the
signal is zero-beat with your sidetone, there should be no shift (you should
not have to change the VFO).

Using Spectrogram and a noise generator will allow you to set your K2 as
closely as 10 to 20 Hz - from your numbers, your setup seems to cause a 400
Hz shift.
