HI

A 50 ohm dummy load is required to complete the kit. You can make one or =
buy one. OHR has a nice kit rated at 100 watts. Build it and you will be =
ready for the KPA100 if you get that option. They also make a nice QRP wa=
ttmeter kit - the WM-2. I find I use the little wattmeter all the time. I=
t has 3 ranges 10 watts 1 watt and .1 watt. I feel a good Digital Multime=
ter is a requirement to build the K2 although it could be built without i=
t. I like Fluke meters but some people think they are a little pricy for =
a hobby. However they are bulletproof electrically and mechanically and h=
ave a lifetime warranty so I guess you get what you pay for. The one on m=
y bench is almost 20 years old and still meets specs. =20

You can get OHR kits from Morse Express www.moresex.com as well as a nice=
selection of Morse keys and paddles. The usual disclaimers, I have no re=
lationship with Fluke, OHR or Morse Express other than a satisfied custom=
er.

okay been looking through the manual and was wondering beside the basic h=
and tools and soldering station is there any other test equipment or tool=
s that you need to complete the k2 or could use to do a good job on it.
