Unless I have missed it, even though there is no longer a novice class
license to test for, the novice segments are still there. There are
still some stations that have a novice license. Worked one the other
night.

I am relearning cw myself and have been having a wonderful time on the
novice segment on 40 meters. 7100 to 7150 kHz. Usually get in the
shack to late for 15 meters, but have worked Ca., Fl., Mi., Ok., and
Il.the past few nights on 40 with 10 watts or less. Contacts have
ranged from about 6 to 12 wpm. Right now, 12 wpm is about my limit.

So looking forward to hearing you on 40. I need your state for WAS.
