[Elecraft] Top of the World

K2 #2511 has conquered the highest point of Oklahoma!!  With the help of a few patient operators willing to dig a 338 
signal out of the noise while trying to copy a less than proficient CW operator who was on the verge of sunstroke ARS's 
Top of the World flag has been planted on Black Mesa north of Kenton, Oklahoma.  KD5PZO and I had fun trying to get 
some height on the antenna.  The only object with any altitude at all was the marker indicating the highest point.  It was 
about ten feet tall so I set my antenna up as an inverted V.  The tips were held under rocks but I was able to get a signal 
into Albuquerque.  I was unable to get a SSB contact into ABQ but could hear them on 40m just over the noise.  

Now on to more high points and more CW practice.  One of these days I'll be able to copy double digit code!
