[Elecraft] xtals and ec-2

Review yesterday's messages as there was a discussion on an integrated amp &
100 watt tuner option. From what I understand it shouldn't be a problem if
you order the KAT100-2 and the EC-2.

Two questions:  I'm wondering how one can tell it the seal on a xtal has
been opened.  What will happen?
The other question is has anybody thought of putting the 100 watt PA  and
the KAT100-2 into the EC-2?  I'm thinking about doing that.  I would prefer
to leave the K2 as is with the qrp set-up.  The kat2 in the top cover along
with the other options that go there and when I want to operate at 100 watts
just hook up the EC-2 which would be sitting next to the K2.
Sorry about the font.  Somehow it got changed to this and I'm looking for
the plain old type font, whatever it is called.
