Hi

If the SSB module is not communicating with the K2 then the problem is so=
mething with the AUX buss or the MPU on the SSB module. You may have a ba=
d or un-programmed MPU or the ceramic resonator may be bad. If you have a=
scope look at pin 10 of the MPU and you should see a burst of 4 mhz sine=
wave at about 5 volts each time you press the mode button on the front p=
anel. If not you may have a bad resonator. Look at pin 28 (AUX buss) and =
you should see data pulses each time you press the mode button. If not yo=
u may have a bad connection in the AUX buss circuit from the K2. The AUX =
buss wakes up this MPU so it can make needed changes on the SSB board whe=
n something is changed on the front panel then the MPU goes to sleep, so =
the clock signal on pin 10 is only there for a few milliseconds.
