[Elecraft] KAT100 use with an installed KAT2

I just ordered a KAT100-1.  I'll purchase the 100W amp later. My K2 has the
KAT2 installed.  I thought I read something about this situation a while ago
but I'm not sure.  Can I leave the KAT2 in place and online with the KAT100
connected?  Will the K2 use the KAT100 and leave the KAT2 alone with both
connected and in operational mode? Do I have to put the KAT2 into something
like bypass mode in order to use the KAT100?  My recollection is that both
can stay connected and the K2 will use the KAT100, but I'm far from being
sure about this. I can't find any references about it now in the old emails.
