YES... definitely!
The reason you found the disparity was MY FAULT, NOT that of Elecraft. I
put the docs together, including the illustrations, and in our (mine &
Elecraft's, mostly MINE) haste to get the docs out the door to waiting
users, I failed to include R19 in my initial drawing, and it slipped past
all of our proofings unnoticed.
If you will check back in the archives, you will find that, about two days
after the upgrade packets had been MAILED, I was informed of the error and
at that time, I redrew the illustations (Fig. 1) and added R19. I then
posted the revides docs on my private web site at
qsl.net/n0ss
along with a series of notes to those readers of the reflector. I guess you
must have missed the postings. You have my sincere apologies.
The updated DOCs are still available on my site, and I think they may also
now be available on the Elecraft site as well.
Initially, R19 was to be 220 Ohms, and that value resistor was, if I
recall, included in the upgarde packet. However, subsequent to that mailing
of the parts, Wayne posted a note to all that R19 should be changed from
220 Ohms to a value between 1.8k and 3.3k, with 2.7k being the best chioce,
if that value is available.
Sorry for the confusion.
