[Elecraft] K1 on Ten meters?

Good day to all,

So far I have had a lot of fun with my K1. The building process seemed 
quite
complicated at first, but if taken one step at a time, everything works 
great.
I keep up with this list for news on updates and ideas. I also hope 
someday
to build a K2.

Awhile back there was a few builders that were interested in using the 
K1
on Ten meters. I received several e-mails telling me about someone they 
know
doing a conversion to Ten. I never was able to contact anyone that 
actually
made the transition or could give nuts and bolts answers. So far it 
seems more
like an urban legend than reality ;-}

This post is to ask two questions really.
1. Is it possible (or practical) to convert the K1 to operate on Ten 
meters?
2. Is there enough interest to make the effort worthwhile?

If the answer to either question is no, well we can just move on the 
more
practical matters and have some fun.  I will be looking for QRP contacts
during the CQ WW contest next weekend. The one with the most electrons
left at the end of the weekend wins.
