The KSB2 crystal filter is known to leak other signals near by, so that
the AGC and S-meter are activated. But since your K2 is CW only, this
can obviously not be the case.
However, there is a modification of the CW crystal filter that improves
the stop-band of the filter. It consists basically in moving the ground
leads to the base of the crystals rather than the top. I have only heard
that this improves near-by rejection, i.e. the signal will disappear
more quickly as you tune through it.
Other factors to consider is to tighten the input bandpass filters for
the band where this happends, this is known to improve problems with
strong broadcasters. Of course you don't want to tighten the bandpass
filters so much that other amateur stations are attenuated, unless they
are on different bands.
