Powering up for alignment tests part 2 I had no Low Batt warning and the
voltage display worked when DISPLAY tapped or the internal voltmeter used by
sliding the S1 CRTL switch. Now it does not matter which direction S1 on
CRTL board is slid...EXT or INT no change in display of E.00.0i0.00.
After resets, various voltage checks, troubleshooting and reheating some
connections the Low Batt warning still appears with E 00.0i0.00 when DISPLAY
is tapped, but CRTL U2 (LM833) voltage readings are pretty low. I checked
the voltages from the regulators forward along the circuit and significant
losses began at CRTL U2. CRTL U6-18 and CRTL U6-24 voltages are reversed
but U6 is oriented properly. CRTL U6-33 has only .07v and probably needs
connection reheated. I have not proceeded to Assembly Part 3 yet.
Could the Dual Op Amp (LM833) be causing the Low Batt warning, weak sounding
relays on 10, 15, 20 meters and an all zero display for voltage only?
