Personally, I'd advise building the basic kit as-is. Confirm that it is 
working as intended, and THEN start adding mods as required.

Some folks prefer to add the mods as they go. But I feel that any time you 
add in a mod AS you build, you run the chance of creating a problem which 
can't be readily traced to the mod itself or to something you did DURING 
the build.

So I'd suggest you build "as designed" and the add mods later.

This is MY personal opinion... others may disagree... it's a big world.
