It's an EXCELLENT idea, James. In fact one of the few genuine gripes I have
about the K2 is the lack of a fixed-level hi-z output as  standard
equipment. It makes interfacing for digital modes and audio applications a
lot simpler. EA3BLQ's interface design is suitable - I have one here - but a
direct STANDARD output is a thing greatly to be desired. Thought: as long as
it can be retrofitted to K2s without the "scratch pot" mod!
