I had *exactly* the same issue/results here. I guess I was a victim of the
odds and my previous xtals (-0195's) made my SSB xmit audio 'pinched' &/or
thin sounding and thus too bad to even bother. Since I replaced the xtals
(right after the surprise that I'm only running 10w) I've had a couple QSO's
in the last day or so *volunteer* how good the audio sounded!

I am ONE HAPPY CAMPER!
